About EcoChick :
Hi there, I'm Rosie, avid hiker and self-proclaimed nature nut, based out of Edmonton Alberta. I started this company because I was disappointed with how slow the major stores have been to offer plastic free products. My goal is to bring a refill service to as many people as possible while having the least possible environmental impact. It was also important to me to make my service easy to access, convenient for families, and have options that will fit into many different budgets.
Philosophy:
I love this planet and all the life in it and I want to do all I can do to help minimize the impact of our lifestyles. By offering a container refill service, I hope to reduce plastic waste going into our oceans. By offering some more eco-friendly products I want to help reduce the amount of harmful elements entering waterways, and help preserve all the little and big things living in them. I want to keep my equipment and business structure simple and costs low to pass on savings to the consumer, in hopes of encouraging more people to cut down on their plastic consumption in our city.
